Jewish Together Temecula Valley and other Jewish organizations in the local area are receiving a proclamation in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month! Join us in the celebration, and then immediately following we are headed over to Public House for drinks.
Per the City of Temecula: We are excited to invite you, and all interested, to our Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month AND Jewish American Heritage Month celebrations at the upcoming Race, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) Commission meeting on Thursday, May 9th, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 41000 Main Street, Temecula. Free parking is available in the adjacent parking garage.
The City of Temecula, through its REDI Commission, recognizes the following months: February – African American History Month, March – Women’s History Month, April – Arab American Heritage Month, May – Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, May – Jewish American Heritage Month, June – Pride Month, September – Hispanic Heritage Month and November – Native American Heritage Month.
The purpose of these gatherings is to recognize and honor all segments of our community by presenting a proclamation upon request and providing an opportunity to speak directly to the community. We strive to “ACE” each of our proclamation celebrations through (1) Acknowledgement of the special month, (2) Celebration with all participating members of the community, and (3) Education through information sharing and community dialogue.
